Distributed Energy Storage Systems - Opening a New Blue

Ocean for Industrial and Commercial Energy Storage Projects As energy storage technology continues to advance and policies strongly support it, user-side energy storage projects are gradually becoming an important means for industrial and commercial enterprises to save energy, reduce costs, and improve energy management levels. Sunten Electric’s self-developed and produced distributed liquid-cooled energy storage cabinets integrate advanced battery management technology and intelligent energy management systems, providing industrial and commercial users with efficient and reliable energy storage system solutions, as well as dynamic peak-valley arbitrage schemes to reduce enterprise electricity costs and promote the widespread application of green energy.

In the Dongguan Chuangsheng industrial energy storage project, against the backdrop of increasing demand for refined and efficient energy management, Dongguan Chuangsheng adopted 6 units of 261kWh distributed energy storage system cabinets to build a flexible and intelligent energy storage solution. The project aims to improve power utilization efficiency and reduce electricity costs. The total energy storage capacity of the 6 system cabinets reaches 1,566kWh, capable of meeting diverse needs such as peak-valley arbitrage, emergency power supply, and power regulation within the scenario.

The energy storage system cabinets used in this project feature a high degree of integration, combining battery packs, the Battery Management System (BMS), the Power Conversion System (PCS), and the Energy Management System (EMS) into one, reducing the footprint and greatly simplifying the installation and commissioning process. The BMS can real-time monitor battery voltage, current, temperature, and other parameters, effectively ensuring battery safety and extending battery life. Additionally, the system supports remote monitoring and AI-based smart management, allowing users to monitor and operate the energy storage system anytime, anywhere through mobile phones or computers, realizing precise power scheduling and management.

The successful implementation of this project has significantly reduced the factory’s electricity costs, effectively improved the stability and reliability of power supply, and provided a valuable reference example for the application of distributed energy storage systems in the user-side energy storage field.
