2024

Awarded the prestigious “Gold Medal” rating by EcoVadis, the globally recognized authority in sustainability assessments.

2010

SUNTEN and Schneider Electric jointly esatablished a Sino-foreign joint venture.

2001

Successfully developed China’s first nuclear island Class 1E dry-type transformer, and remains the sole enterprise in the industry to have completed full-scope aging life qualification-from winding prototypes to complete units.

1999

Successfully developed the Excitation Rectifier Transformer for the Three Gorges Hydropower Station (world’s largest hydroelectric facility), achieving a technological breakthrough in China.

1989

Successfully developed China’s first epoxy resin cast thin-insulation dry-type transformer, ushering in the mass production era for dry-type transformer in China.

2023

The new energy storage technology research and development has been successfully completed and has achieved market breakthrough, driving implementation of the dual carbon strategy through integrated technology-to-product solutions.

2005

First in the dry-type transformer sector to obtain National Accredited Laboratory status, with mutual recognized of test results across over 20 global laboratories.

2001

Authorized to establish a Postdoctoral Research Workstation (Approved by the State Personnel Board).

1995

Certified to ISO 9001 by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).

1988

Founded Shunde Special Transformer Factory, entering China’s emerging dry-type transformer sector.
